![]() Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles In Time-Any% Co-op: I'm always down for some TMNT.Dark Souls 2-All Bosses (w/ DLC): A wrongly looked-down-upon Souls game, run by an excellent runner in "Distortion2." Souls games make for good runs, and this is will likely be a highlight of the week. This will be a raw display of mechanical skill. Furi-Speedrun Mode (Furi Difficulty): Furi is an underrated boss-rush masterpiece, so I'm happy to see it pop up again.I shouldn't even have to say anything more to sell you on this. Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut-Big the Cat (2P/1C): Sonic Adventure.Resident Evil 2 (2019)-Claire A vs Leon A: A bidding war will decide whether the first run of the Resident Evil 2 remake at GDQ will be Claire or Leon, but either way, Resident Evil runs are consistently fun. This is a good warm-up for the mega-randomizer run later in the week. The Legend of Zelda Randomizer-Race (LITE Flagset): Randomizers are fascinating speedruns, as runners are handed a game they understand that progresses differently than it's supposed to and told to solve it.So in lieu of another massive Final Fantasy run, four hours of Pokemon Crystal will do just fine. They're the cross-country runs of video games. Pokemon Crystal-Any% Glitchless: Some of my favorite runs to watch are long runs of RPGs, because they involve a mix of pre-planning, knowledge, and on-the-fly routing that's impressive to see. Also this game is infectiously charming and I will probably fall asleep watching this run. Monster Boy in the Cursed Kingdom-Any%: For the night owls, this run of a retro-styled follow-up is sure to have some tricks both new and old.Borderlands 2-Co-op All Quests: Borderlands co-op runs are a blast, because it's the perfect mix of high-energy, raid group action and laid-back chill time.So seeing it torn to shreds by people who intimately understand the game's fluid movement mechanics is a joy, every time. ![]() Titanfall 2-Any%: I'm biased, in that I think Titanfall 2 is one of, if not the best, single-player campaigns for a first-person shooter ever made.Timespinner-Any%: Kick off the Castlevania block with one of the newest 'Vanias on the block, Timespinner. This might be hard to catch live, but GDQ has been getting faster at uploading archives to their YouTube channel. Marble Madness-Any% Co-op: Marble Madness is already a tough game, so seeing it beat in four minutes in co-op is going to be great to see.Seriously, if you want to see why people are afraid of the Doomguy, just tune into this stream. Final Doom-TNT: Evilution UV-Speed: This is Doom at a blistering, brutal pace. The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap-Any%: An underrated Zelda game, runner "quo" will be going for Any%, or pretty much the bare minimum required to see the end credits roll.Portal 2-Single Player, No SLA (Inbounds): Portal is always a good time, and keeping things inbounds means seeing a lot of neat tricks and probably some high-speed shenanigans. We haven't listed times below for ease of use, though they are listed in chronological order. Keep in mind, times are subject to change if segments run long, though the schedule page is often up to date. It's very worth your time to tune in, but we thought we'd run down the list and note a few runs from each day that are sure to be a blast. There are plenty of runs to check out during the event, with donations going towards Doctors Without Borders. PDT with a run of Spyro the Dragon, and goes on through to June 29 at midnight. Summer Games Done Quick 2019 kicks off Sunday, June 23 at 9:30 a.m. Is there something you think we should be reporting on? Email weekend, put the Twitch stream by the pool.
